My guess is that the $350 million number is a little inflated just to make the Braves side of it look better. That being said I understand their frustration and reasoning for moving I just hope taxpayers don't have to pay for any of the new stadium

What really needs to be improved about the stadium.
this inflated million dollars money just seems to me like some type of power play between the Braves and the city.

Seating and lighting were the two big things that I've heard needed upgrading, but the big issue is the Braves want to add more than just the game experience.

They want to be able to add amenities that brings fans to the game early and gets them to stay late. This would alleviate traffic issues as people aren't all coming to the game at the exact same time while also producing more revenue. Currently, there's not a lot of "extracurriculars" to do to bring people early and there's no real space to expand where they currently are to add those things. Also, the area around the Ted is not exactly somewhere you want to hang around for too long after dark.

I think a lot of the people upset with this forget that the Brave's are a private business and they do what they need to do to make the most money.
