I'm a professional artist and personally I'm not a fan. In my opinion her style is too close to Margaret Keane's work, the artist who made "big eyes" popular in the '50s and '60s. Painting "big eyes" is popular now with artists because that genre sells, but they lack originality and more than likely the copy cat artists' artwork will decrease in value when that trend disappears over time.

It's definitely similar to Keane's in terms of large eyes but I dunno if I'd say they are similar (hers are much rounder) or that big eyes are now popular. I'd also point out that Keane's eyes are saucer shaped round eyes whereas these are different. Furthermore, Keane's is over a 1000 years late (possibly more) when it comes to big eyes. Hers are different no doubt but as the saying goes "there's nothing new under the Sun" not only did ancient Egyptians, Christians, and Jews use big eyes in their art, particularly mosaics but also elsewhere too. They used more almond shaped eyes than Keane's which is much closer to Duer's work.

So yeah, it's derivative but I don't think it's derivative from Keane's. This style is as ancient as we get. Lest we forget Picasso's cubist inspiration.

Here's an example of a 4th/5th Century Jewish Mosaic:

Not only did mummy portraits (for 1st Century Christians) feature big eyes under Graeco-Roman rule but they preceded even that in Egyptian Art. Those examples are MUCH older.

Besides, Keane's work has always given me a "Precious Moments" type vibe.
