You know what's funny about fishing... When you're on land you try to throw it as far as you can but when you're in a boat you try to throw it as close to shore as possible

I'll take that as a "No."

Nope. Drank some wine on the beach by the light of tiki torchers. Gonna go to be early and great ready for tomorrows festivities.

Not if you know how to fish.

If I'm on land I throw diagonal to my left out in front of the trees but not toward the middle and reel it across the trees toward the shore. Basically I'll stand where I can cast the lure to cross in front of but near 3-4 trees and at the last 2 trees pass between them and pull the lure behind the last tree.

If it's a bare shoreline I'll just cast lengthways down the shore because your underwater rocks, drop-offs, shrubs will be near shore. You won't catch anything casting to the middle unless you're using a deep-water crank bait (which is hard casting from shore) or a carolina-rigged worm.

Psh. I catch catfish and crappie throwing straight out into Lake Blackshear, off of a private dock with no trees or drop offs, with a jig and reeling them back in slowly.

No. No I am not. Wild Turkey 101 and Georgia Day on tSEC Network pretty much ensures I shall not drive. Not tonight.

No. I'm sober as a nun, but sleep deprived.
