Yes, I began watching the local radar this afternoon, and got a bit hopeful when I saw all of the moisture moving closer to the BR area. Earlier in the week, they had said that moisture wouldn't make it here because of too much dry air; therefore, next to no chance of precip. As I was watching it on radar inch closer & further to the south, I assumed they were incorrect.

It is very hard to predict snow, though, and pretty much all conditions must be perfect for it to occur, particularly this far south. I love it, though, no matter how much or little there is, which is why I am still awake, waiting & watching, like a child.

Right there with you.

Given the sleet I've been seeing lately, I'm thinking some slightly warmer air got mixed in aloft. Too bad...I want more powdery action.

Maybe the longer the moisture lasts, the colder it will get, and there might be a few more flakes. I've noticed the temp has dropped to 28 in the past few minutes. I think they had dropped the low from 29, originally, to 25.
