Accumulation on the ground in Temple Tx.

My wife is miserable and I'm all excited to have a brand new playground with the kids in the morning.

Watching the dew point here in Baton Rouge.

Temp is certainly dropping and should be in the snow zone by 9-10 tonight. It's looking however that it's going to be too dry.

I hope I'm wrong.

We had sleet for about 2 hours before snow hit. It was below freezing so I think that's giving it some sticking power.

Our house is a battle of wills right now. I keep going to the window and looking like a little kid and she's cussing in the other room.

Have about 2 inches still on the ground from earlier this week (was 4). A couple more coming this weekend. Unfortunately because the windchill is -10 to -20 at times I can't even get out and enjoy it proper.

Enjoy it. I know I will turn back into an 11 year old if the white stuff (eh...the cold type) starts falling from the sky.

It's been snowing/sleeting here for a while now, but just starting to accumulate in the grass. There's a decent amount (for SELA) on vehicles & roofs; none on the roads, but looks like some black ice.

I assume you're in and around the general BR area. That's what it is here. It's fricking amazing!

Yes, just a bit NE of BR. It is amazing. I was here in '08 for the "blizzard" & was hoping to get something similar, but Idk. I keep thinking the radar pics & actual precip are not quite in sync. I think maybe some of it isn't making it all the way down, but looks like it's still got a while to go. Usually when the radar looks like that in N. Arky, there's about a foot of snow on the ground.

The NWS radar has been pretty spot on IMO.

The bigger disconnect for you is probably how much melted on the ground. Generally wouldn't be as much of a problem in Arky.
