Maybe people who follow your religion should stop killing people you stupid bitch. I can't watch it right now, but I'm hoping that's how it goes.

Yeah, she'll be called a bunch of names by people that are PC and the SJW's. Her points are pretty solid although you could add another layer in that not all radicals take action. Many of them simply provide support.
She makes a good point about the peaceful majority. She cited the Japanese in the pre-WWII years. That's not often discussed, but things like the NanKing massacre were absolutely horrible. You can find pictures of Japanese soldiers that threw Chinese babies in the air and caught them with their bayonets.

If muslim people want to reclaim their religion and change the view of the western world toward it, they need to be proactive in ending the radicalism. Currently they are not, and that makes me wonder if they really want it to be different.

Part of the misconception is that an incredibly small number of Muslims are radicals. That isn't really true, especially in that part of the world, there are apparently a whole shite load of radicals. Now, not all radicals are members of terrorist organizations, but they still believe crazy things. Like defectors of blasphemers of Islam deserve to die, just an example. A large percentage of Muslim people in the Middle East are still advocates of Sharia Law.
I assumed it was a thing where like a few thousand believed this shite. When you research the statistics out there, it's a pretty mind opening reality.

Skirp, how much or in what aspect have you been exposed to Middle Eastern or Muslim culture? Just curious.

I've been over a few times but this is all from research I've done out of curiosity. Obviously it also depends on your definition of "radical". I would define anyone who is an advocate of Sharia Law a "radical".

BINGO! While 99% of Muslims don't want to cut your head off, that same 99% would vote for Sharia over our current system if given the opportunity.

Exactly. Most don't have the balls to actually fight or join groups like ISIS, but they agree with their actions. It's why the "moderate" Muslims never speak out. It's a sin for them to do so based on Islamic teaching.

If you do some research they do speak out. We don't hear about it for the same reasons we don't we hear about cops that aren't killing or beating up unarmed citizens - it just ain't news worthy.
The responder also skipped the biggest part of her question - "how do we win / end this war"? I dont know the answer but would sure like to figure out if one of the people in charge has a clue.

thats the problem. You shouldn't have to do research to find the few who do speak out. Muslim leaders should be flooding the media with outrage if they truly are concerned with the perception of Islam, because the worldview is pretty shitty right now concerning Islam.

All it takes is a quick Google search. The news won't talk about it because that won't bring in viewers.

Damn! That woman should be running for president. Awesome.

i enjoy that video because it's irrefutable on her answer's part, but it bugs me she didn't answer the question in it's entirety.
Honestly, somebody needs to come out and say this... for me to think you're not on the side of the radicals, you need to be willing to do violence against muslims. Jordan did it and a few others have joined in, but Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Iran (to my knowledge) are pretty much letting 1930s Germany happen all around them and doing nothing about it.

I don't think that is fair, there are a lot of Muslims that want to participate in a Democracy. And tons of non-Muslims that get the chance to and refuse to vote.

The more I read on this issue, the more I feel like the "peaceful" muslim people are caught in a weird middle area since the issue is painted as black&white Western Civ vs Radical Islam.
Since Antiquity (3000BC), before Islam or Christianity, the Middle East has been culturally different from Europe. Even when the Roman Empire had control of some of the ME, that section of the empire was culturally different than the West and is a major divide during Roman civil wars.
They may in no way agree with radical teachings, but on one hand they have Arab people with cultural ties while on the other side is people who are completely foreign to your way of life
