Two facts that tend to annoy the left and the right:
1)we do have a higher violent crime rate than most of our peer nations
2)the violent crime rate is substantially lower here than it was 25 years ago

We have vastly different cultures. Guns aren't the problem. People need to give up on the pipe dream of America ever becoming gun-free. Only morons think/want that.
