Not sure this one really fits here, but I ran across this one a while back, thought of it again, and wanted to resurrect this thread anyway.

So it turns out, if you ignore that Miley Cyrus is an absolute freak, she's actually got a great voice.

My wife loves Dolly Parton and played this version of Jolene for me the other day. Pretty good.

That soul/brass funk is so beautifully structured.

Probably my second favorite "defining sound" from that era after the clavinet.

Put both of those together with a tight snare, and you get one of the greatest songs of all time.

Add in one of the best blues guitarists of all time, and it just gets downright filthy.
