Compelling argument you make there........

Yes they do. Prohibition doesn't work.

The ones who are trying to say that marijuana is dangerous are the ones who have never tried it. They make it seem like its going to make you do dangerous things like the effects that cocaine would make you do. I quit about 2 months ago, and its really not worth losing your job over, but its by no means a dangerous drug unless you take other drugs or serious amounts of alcohol with it.

I think they should treat it like alcohol honestly. I don't personally smoke and never fancied it over alcohol or at all for that matter, but its never going to go away unless the penalty for it gets kicked up for some reason, then people may not think its worth it.

The "Bible" has nothing to do with me not supporting the legalization of marijuana. The millions who are crying for it to be legalized are also the millions who are unemployed and still living with their parents, or they work a measly part time job bussing tables while blaming their misfortunes on the government... as if legalizing a drug they already smoke is going to land them a job at NASA.
You lowlife pot heads are worthless and annoying. Many of us are tired of dealing with drunks on a daily basis. Let's add fuel to the fire by having to deal with potheads on top of drunks. Let's sit behind a stoner at a stop sign while they wait on it to turn green. Yadda. Yadda. Yadda.

Regardless of its outrageous legalization problem, y'all need to realize it is STILL the law, and that dumbass of a QB KNEW it. So say what you want. Law is the law and he now is subject to the consequences of breaking it.
I know I sounded like a cop just now but frick you MrAU, beaver, 83, and whoever else from the Aubie side that I know will respond to this

Er...what exactly are your sources, anyway? I'm a well-salaried professional with multiple co-workers who partake of pot on weekends. Pot is no different from alcohol -- there are CEOs tossing back single malts and trailer trash tossing back malt liquor. I have no idea what your economic or vocational situation is, but it's clear you don't have much contact -- or at least amiable contact -- with many segments of society if you honestly believe marijuana users are so narrowly restricted.
There's something extraordinarily cartoonish about your rant here, and I think it's because it reads like the ravings of every over-the-top radio blowhard I've ever heard trying to hyperbole his way to better ratings at any cost. I'm not trying (very hard) to be rude, but your assertions come across as astoundingly ignorant.

I hope your only trolling at this point. Alcohol is the only drug that has withdrawal affects that can kill you.

This guy

are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum.
I find myself to be more like this guy
It's painful to sit back and watch the South miss out on $ we could certainly use because the majority of us think marijuana is worse for the citizens of our respective states than alcohol. We're not even trying. Sad, really. To be expected, of course, but sad.

I have a plan to save Social Security by giving it two new revenue streams. One the Feds legalize pot, tax it and monies to be earmarked to the Trust Fund.
Two a United States Lottery funds to be earmarked to the same.
Three pass a law so no one can dip into that fund any more for any purpose other than the ones it was intended to do.
No new taxes for the general public. Plus we get our good amigo Pedro out of the smuggling the stuff across the border business. You make the penalties for possession of or smuggling of non domestic product so high they won't risk it.
Selling to minors? 2 years hard labor. Put it in the liquor stores right along with the Fed Lottery tickets.

Don't think it will ever be legalized at the federal level. If for no other reason than because I can't believe the military would ever allow soldiers to partake. Even in Colorado right now, there are big signs outside the base saying mj is still illegal inside of the base and bringing it on from outside is going to lead you to having a bad day.

I'm a mechanical engineer with a job that will be going to graduate school soon. But keep telling me how lazy and worthless potheads are.
And while you keep beating that drum lets all fork over millions more to support the cause of persecuting people who are hurting nobody and contributing to the prison overcrowding issue.
