These 'life advice' type of threads have been abundant lately.
I just heard a guy mention this on a podcast, people always email him for life advice, similar to this thread.
The truth is you're being submissive. Beta. Or whatever else you want to call it.
You want to put your life in others hands.
Asking strangers on the internet for life advice isn't smart.
You know the answers, you know what is best for you, you need to dig around and find them inside of you.
This might come across as mean, but it's the best advice you'll get on here.

Good luck in your new position. At the end of the day you are the only one that knows what is best for you.
