I don't listen to country, especially if it's mixed with LL Cool J. I can't name a single song by Paisley.

Yep. As a white person this is not the motherfricker I want speaking on my behalf.

I guess so. I like a lot of different music, but I can't stand the voices and the guitar of country songs.

I'm just giving you a hard time. I listen to everything from rock to rap to country to christian to classical and everything in between. Don't have a "favorite" genre, just a wide range of music tastes.

I never block out a particular artist, though. Just seems counterintuitive to me, but to each their own.

I only will after a number of really bad hits without anything I like. That's when I just stop paying any attention to them. But if they come out with something I happen to hear and really dig I will give them credit for the one song.

Brad Paisely blows just as much as the others you listed. Idgaf what he can do with a guitar, his songs suck.

Song sucks, the rest on that cd aren't to bad, unless you like listening to songs about pick up trucks or other typical country songs.

Modern country sucks. I long for the days of artists like George Strait, Hank Williams Jr., and Johnny Cash.

Okay I get the message, I don't believe it is as much of the white guy sellout like others have stated, and I think its great.

Now the song itself sucks arse but honestly most modern country sucks arse and is equivalent to nails on a chalkboard to me. And before y'all start in on me I grew up listening to country and still like most of the older stuff, Garth is still a favorite of mine, but this stuff they produce now is unbearable and to boot my taste have changed slightly and I'm no longer interested in it anymore.

speaking to the messsage of the song only - I think this message would have been great 10 or 15 years ago, but the world moved past the time when it was more relevant without it being said. No sense trying to bring it up now, and certainly not set to music that sounds like that.

Maybe if Eminem were from the south instead of Detroit but rapped like he does anyway he could've pulled something like this off.

This is song is fricking dumb and and an insult to my intelligence. Not mention everything Paisley puts out is shite anyway.

"I can see passed your gold chains if you can see passed the shackles and chains." Paraphrased.

I'm supposed to think these are even somewhat similar and that LL Cool J has any experience being in shackles? What a fricking joke.

Paisley is a joke and all this cross genre new country is a joke and fricking awful.

Hard to argue that ... but still it is what it is and some people are still stuck in the past.

Every rap/country collaboration just gheys me out.

Quit being so awful. Nobody thinks you're making a "statement". You're just experimenting with new ways to whore yourself for $$$.
