A) Did they test it and prove it was steel that was molten?

B) The jet fuel burned off very quickly. It was the other materials that fueled the fire. The temperature jet fuel burns at doesn't matter anyway.

Would you call Mike Leach sane?

I'm a fan, but he thinks he's a goddamn pirate.

It might have been the wooden desks, I'm not sure.

I've never been a fan, weird dude.

He's in no way as charismatic or successful as Pete.

So, would you have used a picture of him in the same manor as Carroll? Why not use Vedder?

Right, because that's the only other material in the building. Glass melts. Other metals melt. Alloys melt. Polymers melt. Extraordinary claims need evidence to back it up. Where's your proof it was the steel?

No, the point is you can be successful and still be nuts.

Anyway, I won't be continuing this, this isn't an issue I'd elect to focus on in an effort to sway people's opinion of the event, there is just too much other good stuff.

For example?

Yes. It does matter. Because if you can't present an alternate theory which explains stuff, then I dismiss it using Occam's razor.

Poking holes in things isn't a theory. It's just naysaying.

Yeah, let me pour out hours upon hours of research conducted over years in a message board post.

The best way to fast track a better understanding of that day is to watch this documentary.

It's roughly 5 hours long, but its an impressive and pretty fair assessment of the event, it includes the debunking explanations. And I say fast track because this doc just focuses on the events of 911, there's an enormous amount of info that doesn't involve the actual terrorist attacks.

A cool feature to this site is the way they've cataloged the material. You can jump to a particular topic by looking at what time it starts. 47:00 minutes of part 3 is where the issue of molten steel is discussed.

I'll say I think most Americans can benefit from learning more about 911, most don't really know too much about it, yet most hold really firm beliefs on what happened that day (both truthers and normal people). Regardless of whether you care to entertain the idea that the official story is false it would be good if people were more informed on the topic.

There is a theory, or evidence (however you want to see it) on what caused the molten metal.

Why is Pete Carroll's opinion on this matter any more relevant than anyone else's?

Plenty of wildly successful people hold illogical views or are bat shite crazy.

LOL

I mean, man, it's not like in question.

There was indeed molten steel at ground zero 6 weeks after (and apparently beyond) 911.
