I agree. But no one can even project at what year we should return to the tournament given the roster and the coaching. You can say we would hope we would be in the tournament when the current sophomores are seniors. But that's just a hope.

If the current sophomores are the best players on the team, that's not a tournament team. If Puryear is pushed to being the first big off the bench, that could be a tournament team.
Mizzou needs to get a couple difference makers to put current players into supporting roles.
