No one is talking about him, but that would be a damn good hire.

Lincoln Riley

As HC or OC.

He has less experience than Odom.

Those are the 3 interviews being reported at right now.

If this is the case. Hire Odom at about 2.5M with a lot of incentives and offer Lincoln Riley 1M per year to come be our OC:

They're also interviews with three people that get prestige out of leaking that they're interviewing for an SEC HC position.

True. I hope there's someone else out there we don't know about.

I'm still holding out hope that Herman is an option. I think we need a guy with a strong offensive background. We are not in rebuild mode. We have a young QB and young WRs who gained valuable, albeit tough playing experience this year. The right guy can mold them into a dominant force. Herman and Applewhite would be ideal.

I'm holding out hope for Fedora or Herman.

Fedora has to get out of UNC before the sanctions really hit.

Yeah, Fedora would be a good option too.

The OCs that Odom would want to bring in are pretty impressive. I've heard Huepel, Littrell and one other one I'm forgetting right now.

So are you on board with Odom or do you view him as a nice consolation prize?

And if not Odom, who?

Sure you can if you want to settle for the status quo. They need to get their guy, if that's Herman fine, and break the bank and lick his arse down. I think Herman is the only one on the list that can get it turned around in a short time.

We went 5-7 in 2012, 1 win away from National Title game in 2013.

This team has tons of young talent, I expect Mizzou to immediately challenge for the SEC East title next year for sure. We need a competent Offensive and OC

Here is another name to consider...Jim Tressel.

I know he is 62. But the guy can recruit and coach. I think he learned his lesson well too.

I thought about Jim Tressel. But he still has a year of show-cause, right? That's some serious stuff.

I love the idea of Richt, IF he wants to continue coaching. He's a good fit for Mizzou in many ways.
