Missouri has dismissed junior guard Wes Clark for academic reasons. He's the team's most experienced guard and leading scorer among guards

So if Isabell transfers as has been rumoured, that leaves us with 1 PG for next year. Wonderful roster management there.

also, with all of the transfers and the such, MU will probably get hammered on grad deal, and possibly lose a scholly.

when it rains, it pours.

This is all Haith's fault.

Seriously, you have to know how well your players are doing in class.

I don't blame KA for this. He can't make Clark not be a dumb shite.

We were on the edge of APR.

And how bad of a shape is he in that he gets booted mid semester?

True. But Haith couldn't make Torren not trash his apartment or make Price not fight his teammate. But the buck stops somewhere.

FWIW, Clark just tweeted he wasn't dismissed.

Bigger than Clark is the APR thing (as mentioned above)

Pretty sure we were teetering on the edge already.

2 people claiming to be his sister and brother commented on link that 810 posted on FB, said his grades are fine and the truth will come out. His brother said that he was gonna leave Mizzou last year but didn't and he probably got the boot bc he and KA got into it

I have a real hard time believing the university would cite academics specifically in an official statement if it wasn't academics.

It's worded pretty carefully. "Academic standards of the Athletic Department" isn't grades.

Probably something similar to what happened with Sheldon. So either wasn't going to Studyhall or along those lines.

You've got a point, but they seemed to be making it sound like it was his decision to leave and Mizzou was just covering their arse. HIGHLY doubt it.

Yeah. He isn't likely telling the truth and neither is his family. But the Unversity has couched it all in some fairly impressive puffery.

I wish WC the best in the future but he was easily my least fav player......would take an 8 footer & miss the entire planet and then the next time down jack up a 3 with 30 secs left on the clock.
