Negs - pretty much anything defense; line, penalties, pass coverage, etc, run blocking, Drew running a QB sneak

Pos - Drew & the WR corp, pass blocking, Ish/Crockett (Ish is running like an SEC RB; north/south), special teams

Nice to see the offensive line physically take over the game in the second half. Drew looked great....in the second half.

Downside. Defense playing too far off the ball. The read and react doesn't seem to be working yet. Secondary will get shreaded again this year if they don't improve but some this is due to a lack of pressure from the front guys read and reacting instead of shooting gaps. Wasn't many tackles for loss either. Disappointing. Kicking game still sucks but should improve.

Our defense needs to get stops and get off the field.

I don't disagree that getting stops is important. My point is that as long as they aren't giving up long scoring plays and have a TD% allowed of 60% or less in the RZ, total defense loses value.

In the words of our very own kilo - we consumed our cupcake without making a mess.
