KC Star article regurgitates much the same stuff. This one did happen to mention Frazier but no Williams.

Not real excited about Cheadle being a starter

I'm less excited about what is not taking place at safety. Perkins hasn't taken many meaningful snaps because of injury. Hilton has already had a ball carrier truck stick him, causing him to miss some reps.

Matter discusses the position here

Hopefully we get some pass rushing to help out the back end. Looks like Smash and Byers are impressing.

Smash could honestly be another Markus Golden if I keep hearing these good things about him. Both were lightly recruited, both moved from LB to DE, both have super high motors.

Smash and Byers
This would be a young but interesting pair on the left side. @ 290 Byers can easily play Heavy 5 moving Smash to a Crash 6. If his first step is what everyone says it is, that would give the DE a totally different angle at the QB.

The backend is potentially looking like a real problem area.

That DL better be making things happen.

It(safety) was my biggest question mark on the team heading into camp.

I do think the play in front of them will be better. I was optimistic and liked what they were trying to do to help the second level when they hired Shipp. There was zero mesh in the dline room. The players admittedly fought the scheme, but a good coach gets them past it because of the bigger picture. Shipp instead gets physical with a player and now cant get a job coaching PE at an elementary school.

Its early and everyone has a great attitude 8 days in but there are some differences in that room. Simple things like body language during the "meet the freshman" interviews is different this year. I don't think Haley has an issue getting guys to play for him. He is fair and calls everyone out. Beckner got praise but he "needs to be more consistent" in terms of effort.
