It amazes me how the kid had an offer from Alabama and can't kick an extra point. Give me an accurate kicker, not just one that can every once in a while make a 60 yard bomb.

In high school kickers kick off of tees. Kicking XPs and FGs from the ground does change the mechanics some. If he adjusts he will be a good kicker.

sounds like a coaching issue to me. 100 percent a coaching issue.

What does it say when a kid is kicking 60 yarders in high school but cannot kick an extra point at the next level?

Coaching problem.

There's definitely a mechanical adjustment, he'll get there, he's just a kid.

How bout that Bama kicker last weekend.

Announcers said he changed shoes three times before the game. Was having mental/mechanical issues in warmups. The shite is flimsy. It's thin ice up in that brain.

Carried over to the game until he could lock in.

Think most of the issue with McCann was things went in a bad direction early and he lost the mental battle. Snowball effect. Which made it harder to get the mechanics crisp.

Adam Wainwright loses his mechanics. Still.

I'll note his rookie spotlight was embarrassing and I got suspicious at the moment he put his arms up to flex to conclude the interview. Hopefully he was humbled and undouched a little bit by his struggles this year.

I don't see why Missouri can't make a run at the SEC East title next year.

If-if-if Odom reload the defensive personnel in one off-season like they did on offense this past year - and the offense progresses in Year Two - I think we've got a shot. And we'll be coming out of nowhere in the eyes of the SEC honks.

I heard a Cusumano interivew with Michael Scherrer last week and he asked him for a player that's going to step up next year and he picked board whipping boy, Cam Hilton. If he's right and these growing pain players progress, it could happen.

Cam has great instincts. He was in position to make a lot of plays this year. Just didn't finish them.

A lot of the things Hilton missed on seemed like side-effects of spending development time on offense in 15. Would think he'll be better.

Hilton is going to be a star. I've maintained that all along. He stands out. I expect big strides next year

I hope so. I wasn't much of a fan this year. Thought his instincts and ability were much better on the offensive side.

He can't tackle. He can't cover. I'm 47 and could make him lose his jock and look the fool. I can't tell you how many times I saw him going to the ground after being juked and he was never all that close to the ball carrier.

I really do hope you're right because I really liked what I saw in 2015. And I do think he plays with a lot of heart and seems like a good kid.

Mizzou hasn't placed much attention on the importance of a good kicker.

the dude was the #1 kicker in High School and they dropped him a schollie, he has the leg. Cannot say they have not tried to address this.
