From Tulsa's standpoint, he's still not a great hire. He has NCAA baggage. He has player discipline issues. He can't coach for crap.

I feel like a Miami fan after Mizzou hired him. Glad he's gone, but still confused.

It really is kind of weird. It's like a dude that had some great years doing a specialized thing (it's a big thing) but having a bunch of places take a shot on him because of it.

I wish I had that kind of luck in my life.

Frank Haith seems like a good guy, I don't think the Miami thing was a huge issue, but an issue like that in my life would put a big scarlet letter on me. I don't see how he keeps doing it.

I was willing to give him some time to be good/great, he had some weakness, but I wasn't calling for his head. Many were, but I don't think the majority was. It seems like a weak move to avoid criticism, which is something I don't respect.

Cuanzo at least moved laterally, this is just weird.

There is no turning back. Alden would be shown the door if he allowed it.

I agree. After the year he had, with the epic collapse, and try to leverage a raise? Um...no. And kilo? No off-season breaks for you. If I'm here, you have to be too, we're in this together.

Dude's got to be gone.

This isn't some situation where he can come back and ask for more. He's got to know that.

That flight to Tulsa didn't have a return ticket, it couldn't have.

This is addition by subtraction.

Haith was a horrible game day coach and had to
go.

Next man up! Go Tigers!! I wonder if Smart is thing it's time for greener grass. The SEC would
be a bigger payday and lot's more exposure.

He was the leading candidate, until they read his resume.

It looked like he typed it out on his phone or some shite.

Plus, he started the second page of his resume with, "I can't believe this is still going."

He's no longer a candidate.

FWIW, there are no IFR flights from TUL to COU scheduled so far tonight.

Just to keep the flight tracking coolness alive.

If my new employer got me on a Lear Jet to get the job and made me fly commercial to go home and connect through Dallas I'd be pissed.

All I'm saying is that the dude appears to be there overnight, which means what we already thought it meant when he got on the plane.

He gone.
