Just wanted to hear your thoughts.

I think Clemson and Missouri were on the same trajectory as programs the last 10 years. It just so happened that along the way they were able to get over the proverbial hump.

Dominate Defense and Power Run game keeps Bama around. Just gotta have a solid QB and WR's. Maybe 1 WR weapon

That young man definitely played well tonight, made a mistake but kept his team in a position to win. Hopefully we will see our true sophomore make strides in the playmaker area.

I know they are 2 different players with different skill sets, but Dabo made sure his QB was put in a position to be successful. I see Heupel doing the same with our QB1.

Well, Clemson's team never went on strike. That's a definite plus for Clemson.

I disagree. We might have been on the same trajectory for about one to two years, they as other ACC teams have out recruited us. It's that simple. Clemson unlike programs like Mizzou will have staying power because of recruiting.

Mizzou has had one good season in the SEC. We backed into the second one. Recruiting has got to get better. Hopefully Odom can get it there. It's a wait and see. Out recriting or recruiting at a level to stay with LSU, Bama, Auburn etc. is a tall order.

It was a good game though.

I see your point. Recruiting definitely has Clemson competing at levels we wish to obtain in Columbia. It is the big separator between our programs.

I was referencing how both programs did not have a conference championship or BCS win to hang their hat on while fighting negative perception from outside the program. Like you mentioned talent eventually got Clemson over that hump.

We did not back into the second one. Goodness.

I'll never understand some Mizzou fans refusal to give their own team credit. You don't "back in" to 11 wins.

Clemson gave 'em hell. Watson...wow.

Bama is just so frickin deep. And well coached.

When the final college football game is over, I'm always a little sad.

Was surprised how many points were scored.Impressed with Clemson's DL for most of the game. They put a lot of heat on Coker, and did a decent job containing Henry other than the one big run in the 1st quarter. However, Clemson's secondary looked awful with some blown coverages that gave away 14 points.Gutsy decision on the onside kick that steered momentum Alabama's way.I wanted Clemson to win, but it was a fun game to watch.Sucks we have to wait 7 more months for football again.

My view point. Not debatable. Have a nice day.

Clemson dominated most of the game. Bama had 3 big offensive plays (2 from busted coverage), and 2 special teams plays.

Henry didn't dominate. Only had one real run. Coker didn't play well. Bama receivers sucked. Howard's 2 long plays were about all the excitement from their offense. Henry's one big run was well executed.

But Watson dominated Bama's D. Made a couple bad throws, but that was it.

Special teams was the difference, to the tune of 14 points. In a 5 point game, that is huge.

Other observations: Clemson's defensive secondary couldn't get their shite straight, and Alabama's right tackle was constantly out of position and missing blocks.

After watching that game I'm glad Mizzou is going back heavy in Texas where we use to find our best offensive players along with the Midwest. Still need to stay also in the South East. I also heard that we might start looking in B10 country, too.
