I have mad respect for fans like you. Still supporting the team. People need to remember blacks and whites on the team didn't want to be involved in the protest. People act like the whole damn team did. Real fans and alums won't turn their backs on the team, school, etc. Makes your fan base look weak as frick.

Like I said in another thread, if Mizzou was undefeated these frickers would still go to that damn game.

This game and team are the least of our problems, and they are also the only reason it has reached this level. Make whatever excuses you want, without their involvement the university of Missouri doesn't have this dark cloud without their ill advised involvement.

Not showing support also vocalizes fans disapproval with the handling of the entire situation.

Which means I don't want to hear shite from you when we don't have the money or support to move forward as a program and fall behind even more so.

But if the team was undefeated you guys would be there in full force. Stadium would be sold out. If Mizzou was a top 10 team tickets on stubhub would be over $75+. Lets keep it real.

Because the team wouldn't have gone on strike. I'm not sure what you're arguing.

But the whole damn team didn't want to strike??? Do you see what I'm arguing?? You're only hurting yourselves by not supporting the team. Recruits will be watching, some might even attend. Better yet, how about yall not support Mizzou vs Tenn...that would be really lovely with recruits at that game.

No wonder people say Mizzou have the worst fan base in the SEC

People buying into shite other fans say. If the same thing happened at LSU, Bama, Auburn, aTm, etc those fans would still attend games. Hell Ole Miss banned the confederate flag, changed Mascots. I remember fans were pissed.... saying PC bullshite, cry babies, etc...But they still supported the school and went to the games.

While we'll never know, but I'd be willing to wager a big sum that, if we were 9-0, the players wouldn't have said they wouldn't participate in football until the President resigns/is fired.

My bet would be they'd express solidarity, maybe wear arm bands or helmet stickers...but they'd play, damn sure.

So you guys are all for the team taking a stand, but you are opposed to the fans taking a stand to show their displeasure?

Quite oppressive IMO

Wait so...

This is what he said...

quote:
“They were pretty high,” Martin said of Missouri, “but I’m not going back in time with this type of madness.”

Black people complaining are making Mizzou look more racist than it really is. It's 2015...people don't want to put up with 1965 type of shite.

Spreading rumors about KKK on campus, people wanting to shoot up campus...that scare any kid away.

Was something you posted in another thread about a DE recruit removing Missouri from his top 5. (Why would a DE want to come here anyways, i'm sure this incident has no bearing, amirite?)

But now here you are saying
quote:

But the whole damn team didn't want to strike??? Do you see what I'm arguing?? You're only hurting yourselves by not supporting the team. Recruits will be watching, some might even attend. So is it potentially that this entire situation has destroyed our appearance to recruits and we really are as fricked as we are trying to relay? Or...? Sunshines an dildo rainbows?

He's not sure. He's been arguing 3 sides of a 2 sided coin since Monday night. I figure he's just working through it.

I'm not at all for the team taking a stand. I thought it was wrong and Im pissed they did it.

That being said I think any type of boycott or a bunch of people pulling donations is damaging to the program. Just remember these players, and even this coach, is just a snapshot of the program. They'll all be gone in time.

Mizzou football is important to me. I don't want to see it suffer.
