IDK. In three years he's brought them from 1-7 to 7-1 in conference. And I think beating Houston would say something. Temple is a tougher place to recruit than Houston for sure

I'll take the guy with the ring and the experience and leave the other to someone else.

That being said, Herman is low on my list and Rhule isn't on it at all. If they were the only two choices, Herman gets it all day long.

And I think 9/10 people would choose the same, regardless of the results of the game.

Rhule would be a good get. And a tough one. Lot's of people looking for head coaches and the good one's are dropping out fast. shite now Georgia is looking.

Rhule would be a horrible hire but folks say our AD is a God when it comes to hiring football coaches. We will see. If he ends up with Rhule then he is not as good as people think.

And yet Georgia appears to have figured out that you don't need to hire a head coach as your head coach. Everyone is concentrating on which crap head coach is going where, and every time someone says Rhule and Mizzou it makes me want to throw my fricking computer through a window.

I don't have delusions of grandeur, but if you don't think Mizzou is a better job than the names that are being thrown around right now you need to get your head examined. Nothing personal, but you're way off base.

Or I am, who knows. Matt fricking Rhule though? Dino Babers? Matt Campbell? There's no GD way we're at that level.

I have to agree with Mizzeaux. We are a top 25-30 program nationally. These aren't top 25 names. I think we should be aiming higher. We will see what MR does.

So it's either shite .500 record Rhule with no real experience or it's Nick Saban?

There's no middle ground in there anywhere?

This is silly. What if Rhule comes here and kills it?

This. Also remember South Carolina went out and hired two national championship coaches in back to back years with Spurrier and Holtz. Carolina doesn't even come close to our program as far as success.

This argument sounds familiar...

He has won 10 games at Temple for only the second time in school history, and first since 1979.

Addazio left him a 4-7 team, and in 3 years he has them on pace for their best season in school history.

He's not my first choice either, but to act like he hasn't gotten positive results is asinine. He may not replicate that here, but he has done a damn fine job at Temple.

What if Herman flops? What if blah, blah, blah...

EVERY hire is a risk. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

EAD btw

yes he's .500. He got there by going
2-10
6-6
10-2

You don't have to present the facts in a Fox News kinda way

2000 Pinkel versus 2015 Rhule. Who do you have?

The answer to that question will say all you need to know, and in a non "Fox News kinda way."

At least it's a realistic opinion.
