Articles are now coming out with "UGA Sources" saying Herman deal is all but done.

Sooooo.........

Fuente - Va. Tech
Campbell - Iowa St. ( wtf?!?! )
Babers - UCF
Herman - Georgia

Who is let other than Odom that we have been talking to?

Who knows. I can tell you that two of those people on your list have no business on a Mizzou head coach candidates list.

Chill out, it will be fine.

Who does deserve to be on the list? I haven't heard many names I feel deserve to be on it. Rhule ain't no different than Campbell or Babers from what I can tell. Who else?

Every single person I've heard is shite. And, like a broken record I say it again, The only name we'll hear are from people that gain something from being associated with the job. That means: prestige, better offers, covtract extensions, etc.

Kirby Smart will be a rumor of UGA, but there won't be a source. He's got nothing to gain from leaking a UGA interview.

As for my list? I don't think anyone but Herman from the OP list would be on mine.

Richt
Patterson
Kingsbury
Venables
Smart
Rodriguez
Riley
Herman
Shaw
Fitzgerald

Some of them are long shots, but this is my list. There's sure as hell not a Babers, Rhule, Campbell, or fricking Taggart on it. Those people shouldn't be on anyone's list unless they just hate Mizzou.

Lincoln Riley really intrigued me, but can you hire a 32 yr old as HC?

Kingsbury would go a long way toward sparking the rivalry with Arky.

We can do anything we want. If he's the guy, he's the guy. I'd have been happy with Les Miles, and he's pushing some years.

I honestly didn't know he was that young, I just looked him up when someone mentioned him and liked what I saw. Plus, I needed a few coordinators on the list to make a point.

Kingsbury is nothing more than a pipe dream. He's not leaving his alma mater to come to Columbia.

Then cross him off the list and add the next best candidate at the bottom.

Let me know when you get to the spot where you feel like you need to add Matt Rhule to the list.

Oh, I know. And I'm not sure we would want him - not sure about the fit, he's a big 12 offense coach. But it would be a way to make the rivalry with Arky come alive.

I would cross all those names off, and just roll with Odom then.

I get the sense it's down to Rhule or Odom. I'm not totally against Rhule, but I'd much rather have Odom.

This is not confirmed yet like the others. From what I've heard UGA is going after Kirby Smart and that's who UGA fans want.

When Temple beats Houston this weekend is Herman still gonna be the man and Rhule still a bum?

Herman will still be a coach with six years experience as an offensive coordinator, including one year in which his team won the national championship. He'll also be a head coach with an 11-2 record.

Matt Rhule will be a guy that hung on at Temple for a long time and through a few regimes, spent a year assisting the line coach for the Giants, and just finally cracked the .500 mark as a head coach.

I'm still thinking he beats Herman this week. But I could be wrong. It happened once

Okay.

Saying that would make Rhule more fit for the Mizzou position is like picking a company's CEO based on the results of a sales contest.

The resume matters, and when it comes to these two people there isn't a comparison.
