The relationship he had with Kuligowski spanned a decade and it was never going to work. That isn't all on Odom.

im not as sold on the offense as most just yet.

I'm with you. The Moore drops and Lock inaccuracy has to change and my confidence level is low on that.

I expect drew to really blossom in 2017. Junior year, returning experience around him and 2nd year in the same system under huepel. Hopefully Moore cures the drops issue. If so, he can be a special player. I think a big issue on how much the defense improves from last year will be how much the offense improves from last year. You have to convert 1st downs and continue drives to keep the defense off the field(which has always been the best defense imo)... I'm expecting at least "good" things from the tigers this year with hopes of "great" things...

Year two with Hill over the WRs is enough for me to think that Lock's passing efficiency will be better. Lock completed 63% of his throws on targets not going to Moore last year. Moore's hand technique costs him at least 3 receptions per game on throws inside his catch radius. He gets that figured out and he becomes a guy DCs have to pay more attention to, putting Blanton and Reese in very favorable matchups on the seam.

Elarbee's decisions about the interior is what intrigues me most this fall. My gut is that Ploudre and Simms go 60/40 on reps. Simms can maul and will play a lot but Ploudre, Dubinski, and Pendleton's timing was solid during the spring game.
