I am with you! Tigers need to shake it off and play lights out rest of the way. Every team in the east has it's weak spots/games. Hopefully, we just got the monkey off our back today.

I don't think things have changed much either. I just don't think we're that good this year. I do look forward to next year. But let's face it, 1st year starting QB, three 1st year starters at WR, lost our leading RB, lost our best DB, lost a handful of LB's. We're young and I just don't think we're that good this year.

I too am not as freaked as some on here. First of all today was a shitshow from the start, we were outplayed, out coached and worst of all were not able to find the heart to win. I see though no problem really with our first year starting QB who is the best we have had since Chase. The receiving corp did not cost us nor did the RB's. We though were and have been way worse on the OL then I thought we would be this year. Britt was a huge loss and Max had heart but was not by any means a stud. Our inability to find 2 decent starters at guard has been exposed all year though. Our defensive is all predicated on the DL when they make plays we are good. The LBers are crap but at least young. The DB's are also crap but young as well. The worse thing is that our D is almost constantly out coached. This year I still say we have a chance in every game we play, mostly because the D's we play are shite. I see us at 7-8 wins.

Gary Pinkel inst going to lead us into the "playoff era" with grace and success.

I hate to say this but its time to ask for more.

It was a tweet but in fairness I don't know what it's in reference to. Being just shortly after the game, I have a fair idea.

If they field todays team with todays effort the rest of the year, we're dead last in the SEC period. We won't beat anyone.

No motivation, no effort, no game plan and no coaching. If I had actually spent money to go see this game I'd be more pissed than I already am.

Oh and Steckel has to go after this season. I am tired of seeing 10 yrd. cushions on 3rd and 10. We have some good athletes on defense, but can't seem to get off the field.

7-8 wins is reasonable. We're just not as good this year and 7-8 wins is by definition not as good as last year. I posted somewhere, I don't think we suck, we're solid, just not awe inspiring. I really do get excited thinking about next year though.

And my feelings aren't based on a loss to Indiana. Had we held and won, my thoughts on the team would be much the same. They just haven't impressed in any of the games so far this year.

Mauk has his upsides. He also has his down sides. He will be good, but he is a redshirt sophomore.

Sasser and Brothers were the highlights on the team in my opinion. I am a little concerned that we don't seem to be grooming any WR's for next year. Lose Sasser and White...who would you say are our go to WR's next year? Hunt obviously. We know zero about the rest at this point.

I don't see us beating SC, UF or UGA this year. The question will be how does this team respond to losing 4 in a row. If we lose those 3 games, we have to win 4 of 5 out of Vandy, UK, UT, A&M and Arky to get to 7 wins. I hope I'm wrong about the first 3 games, but I really think it will depend on if they mail it in or not.

What's this????

I've been saying that I think Mizzou is too loyal to seniority.

We have guys like J'mon who have far high ceilings, more elasticity, more ability to make big plays than the guys we've played this year.

No excuse at all for the lack of playing time for the young receivers in these non conference games. I can see how today might have been different.

Yup. Wasn't sure what we had. Now we know. And it isn't good. We may surprise a team or two. But we'll do well to win 4 more games. 5 will be a miracle.

Blind loyalty has always been a noose around the programs neck. I'm tired of it.

Everybody needs to cheer up. It was a bad day, but not the season.

The East is wide open, at this point.

See how next week goes, then we can either be jubilant or wring our hands in despair.

Anything new with the BB duo that under suspension?

You're right it will effect them for the next decade instead. They can't roll in this league. I know it rustles everyones jimmies but this team can't win unless the conference is down. It crushes me but its the truth. We will never recruit well enough with Pinkel to compete consistently. it's going to be miserable being in this conference and I'm not looking forward to t.

this loss did not completely surprise me, still thought we might win a squeaker but I think the talent level/coaching is good for 5-7 wins, still does not mean the season is lost and Gary and the boys could make somewhat of amends by ruining SCAR's weekend this week.

You're listening to tRant too much. Tired of hearing the "down" schtick. The SEC East, NOT the SEC, the SEC East had 2 teams in the top 5. Mizzou was one of them and Mizzou won the east, even with another top 5 team in it. Just because the traditional powers weren't as good doesn't mean it was down. And if I recall correctly, we played 2 teams from the west and beat both of them last year too.

we may be the only spread offense in football that has no concept of a 2 minute drill.

I really hope that's the case, but I'm tired of watching the same crap that never gets fixed and is actually part of the "gameplan". Steckle is running Pinkels defense just like Eberflus did, it's not a coincidence.
