No, it isn't strange, because the protest is/was ridiculous. There is a difference between protesting to protest, and a protest to enact a change in policy/law. VERY different, and only 1 has legitimate merit.

Only a small handful of people are racist. It is pointless to protest against "racism", as though it is a tangible thing, rather than a boogeyman word. Protests need a clear vision and concise goals of their movement, and they need to incorporate common sense and general knowledge of state and federal laws.

I'm still baffled that people think Wolfe should somehow be held responsible in all this. University SYSTEM President's NEVER get involved in day-to-day events with students. That goes for most university systems in the country. As I've said multiple times, this was great maneuvering by Loftin to take the heat off his back, although it was his job to address the concerns of students, not Wolfe.

Now, that is not saying that Wolfe did a good or bad job. I frankly have little idea on how to assess his job performance, but I do know that this BS shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I would say when on that video at night he said "you guys" are bringing this on yourself he fricked up big time. The guy fricked up the situation and let it grow out of hand. Of course the protesters are whiney arse bitches as well. There is plenty blame all around for the clusterfrick.

Both sides have handled this very poorly and in the process embarrassed our university.

I stand by the protesters at Mizzou and I take my hat off to them for fighting for what they believe in. LINK

Question.

Could the comment by CS1950 about meeting demands by any means necessary be viewed as a verbal threat by MU? If so, would this result in those students being dismissed permanently from the school? If that happens and there are protests by non students on campus, could they be arrested for tresspassing or other violations of local and state laws?

Just curious. It seems Henson is calling their bluff.
