I read that and so much so wrong about that interview. He felt comfortable in his position despite the struggles, as long as Alden was there?!?!?! Really?!?!?! Retaining him or not is one thing but to say that you were comfortable in knowing you'd be brought back is a whole different thing and tells me they are perfectly happy with not making the tournament on a more than regular basis. Ridiculous.

And the Tribune article is the only one to look at the facts?!?!?! C'mon. We all know Mizzou doesn't put much $$$ into the program. We already knew they didn't promote it, the facilities are lagging and the weather sucks. Yes, we get it. But there are a lot of other facts that can be considered too and people can reach a different conclusion than that TJ deserved to be retained.

If he wants a new stadium, he better start filling up his current one and the best way to do that is start winning and stop making so many excuses for not doing it. There are other schools that are in a similar or almost similar situation as Mizzou and they find a way to make the tournament.

He had a nice run of success a decade ago.So he has been able to win to an extent.I found it interesting Taylor Stadium stays 10-15 colder in spring than rest of Columbia. Why is that?Never been to Taylor Stadium. What is so bad about it?

The way I look at it is if someplace like Arkansas, who doesn't have great weather or a is traditional power, then Tigers should be able to win too.

I was surprised Jamieson was given a new deal.

He had a nice run with Scherzer and Crow.

He gets some credit for bringing those guys in, but what has he won when he hasn't had those guys?

I agree with you about Arkansas. Or Indiana. Or Maryland. Or Missouri State. Or Iowa. Or Illinois. Or Oregon. Or Oregon State. Or Michigan. Or Louisville. Or Notre Dame. And that was just from this year's tournament.
