In all fairness DGB never reached his full potential. He would catch the passes against the bums but would drop just about every sure TD against a good team ala South Carolina. The Auburn game was the first TD he made against a good team and he actually dropped it though he later got a legit TD. Good riddance the kid was nothing but trouble.

Yeah i agree to point but seemed to play better with Mauk then Franklin.
If all said is true agreed kick his arse off but lets see what plays out, still think our team is better with him then without imho.

Your flopdangle sensitivity doesn't quite align with the image you are trying to convey in your avi pic

What are you talking about? Why do you have that ludicrous idea in your head?

Listen, I wouldn't refer to you as a flopdangle dandy if you'd quit acting like one. Doesn't mean I hate you.

Did he have this shady past when Mizzou recruited him? This guy's been a disaster, we finally lure in a top recruit and he's a frickin' headcase.

Because Mizzou.....

Mizzou's football team may be better without DGB

He's a helluva talent. No doubt.

However, he hasn't yet lived up to expectations as the number 1 receiving recruit in the country.

Sure, he's made his share of big plays, but it's not like Mizzou made it to the SEC Championship solely because of DGB.

Hell, Mizzou made it to the SEC Championship game with a QB who at times seemed hell bent on not throwing to DGB.

Point is that we have a talented team of receivers who can fill his role. We can win without him. And, if he is a distraction to the team...we'll be better without him.

Not worried of the outcome in the slightest. Mizzou will be just fine.

Disagree on almost every point. I am worried about 2014 success without Beckham.

Based on we saw (particularly the action DGB saw with Maty Mauk at quarterback), I have little doubt a dominant, breakout season is at hand for both. And we really don't know what we have at receiver behind Beckham. To claim otherwise is wishful thinking.

Add to this the loss of our best RB (in Henry Josey) and I see a real danger that the offense could implode, especially due to the (potential) loss of DGB.

Hope I'm wrong.
