So, it's that time of year again... HOOPS BABY!
What are some things you will be looking for in the first few games? The team obviously could use improvement in literally every aspect of the game, but I want specifics.
My expectations are as follows:
I want to see good PG play this year! Clark had a lot of potential, but he was too much of a gunner. I am excited to see if Phillips can give us some stability at the position. I want a good assist-to-turnover ratio and a floor general.
Other than that, I want to see that Namon Wright has progressed and gauge how good KJ Walton could potentially be for us in the future.
Lastly, I want to see good ball movement!
Is that too much to ask?

Gant develops a mid range shot.

Thats actually pretty accurate for last year. Of course all outside the arc. We used to call it the four corner stall.

So far in the exhibition and B&G game that hasn't shown up.
Fulford did a podcast on RockMNation saying that the coaches had to scheme that 3 man weave last year due to lack of talent/consistency. Says that won't be the case this year.

Can we rebound and defend inside? We had trouble rebounding in the MWSU game and they were tiny, we'll get killed against P5 teams. Tonight won't reveal much on that as Wofford is as small as we are.

Being that we are severely undersized, I don't see us rebounding well. We will need to really go up and down all game. Hopefully, we can wear down the opposing bigs throughout the game. However, the problem with that is the fact we are not a deep team. This is where coaching is going to come in to play. We shall see...

I'll watch it on SEC+. Hope the basketball team plays good. Want them to do good in the SEC.

Predicted 12 wins last year so I'll predict 17 this year. No bid but a good foundation. So maybe we get 14-15 wins.

Ok cool thanks. I have Dish but I don't see it showing up on that alternate channel.
