What information did he have? Genuinely curious.

As far as I know. He knows he failed a drug test. Was suspended, then reinstated. After reinstated was involved in an altercation outside a bar. Suspended again. That was all under Pinkel. Odom reinstated him after that with a zero tolerance policy. He fricked up again, he booted him.

What am I missing?

A lot more than we did I am sure and we knew enough that Odom frankly shouldn't have allowed him back at the time. Personally, I think Odom panicked when he looked at the depth chart, knowing Printz was leaving, and seeing only Lock and Zanders and no one else. He rolled the dice with Mauk and lost IMO.

Disagree. He failed a drug test. If we start kicking everyone off the team who does that we'll never win anything. In fact, we could start with Penton and TBJ.

Like I said, he allowed him back with zero tolerance. He betrayed that once again, he was gone. If he was really panicked about the depth chart he would have kept him and simply stated that it's an old video and he'd already been punished for that. He tried to help the kid. Mauk fricked up, not Odom.

Dude, strike one was the scooter incident.

Strike two was dealing cocaine..........allegedly.

Strike three was was playing like he's on it.

Strike four was failing a drug test if that's true.

Strike five was getting blasted and starting shite at a bar hours after reinstatement.

Strike six was going all Scarface on video.

No, he had plenty of strikes that he should have been gone long ago. Dalton was gone for much less.

Why? No need to drag this shite out any further.

It's done, let's move on.

When I first heard that BO has let Mauk back on the team, I thought he had made a huge mistake. Then it occurred to me that maybe he is back on the team as part of an incentive for getting clean. Maybe instead of just kicking him of the team like I first thought they should, they tried to get him help. Sometimes we forget that these are young men who will need help. I know I have forgot that before.

I think it is reasonable to say that without the video coming out, Mauk would still be on the team. It is reasonable to say that the video was the final nail in the coffin, whether or not he did anything since the reinstatement.
