Hope he gets the help and support he needs. Would really liked to have seen him make a comeback. I will always think he had a pretty good upside, drugs dreailed him. Sad.

Sad day. Hate to see anyone fail. Especially with someone that has so much talent.... Only wish him the best, and that he can find the strength to beat his addiction

Must say I am a bit confused, especially after they made a point of saying the video was old. Guess we will be left with more questions than answers. Mainly, would this have happened if the video didn't come out?

The release said after investigation they discovered he violated team rules in the past couple weeks. He was on a zero tolerance policy, and he's gone.

So it was just a coincidence that Odom immediately re-suspended Mauk after the video broke? And that they may or may not have had an investigation going on prior to the video that happened to conclude 24 hours after the re-suspension?
It would've been nice to hear Odom answer a few questions at an actual press conference instead of via a release.

This is Odom's first mistake. He had enough information to know that Maty should not been allowed back on the team yet he did. Very disappointed in Odom over this.
