That being said I wouldn't be disappointed if he's hired here. I think he could do very well I just have reservations about someone who was just fired.

Lots of hate for a guy that just seems to make a lot of sense. Kilgore seems to be polarizing that place. It will be funny when he turns out to be right.

I guess we go after coaches who have won it all then.
Maybe a KA.

Wells top QB has missed most of both this season and last year. Has had a solid record, not great 25-15 over 3 years.
That said I would pass on him.

I said win it all. That is our goal right? It's much easier to accomplish that goal at Georgia than it is at Mizzou and he never got it done. Hell, he couldn't even win the East over Missouri in '13 and '14.

Winning it all is a good goal, but realistically it's the proverbial needle in a haystack as far as hiring any coach with that goal in mind. You go out and get the best available coach you think can get you there but it's always a gamble. Richt has come close. He has the pedigree these other candidates don't have. He's accustom to the grind in the SEC. He's been snake bit with some of the assistants recently. I think starting with a clean slate at another program may be what Richt needs to get to that next level. There's no doubt, he's much much further ahead in the curve than say an Odom or Other coaches Rhoades is looking at. I can understand your point also. But I think Richt the best qualified ready right now coach. JMO

I don't like his experience or resume. Don't know much else.

No, it's not, it may be a byproduct of some other things eventually, it's not the goal at Missouri though because with current state of the program it's not realistic
