Come on Rhodes, you can't be serious, its got to be a smokescreen right? This is a lot of looking around if we're just going to hire Odom. Plus why haven't we reached out to Richt yet? He could coach circles around MR other candidates.

We know five schools have contacted Richt as of earlier today. I have to imagine Mizzou is one. USC is likely one of the others. Maryland is there also.
I've got no clue who the other two would be.

Edit: NVM Gabe now confirmed Mizzou has reached out to Richt.
For real, the USU coach can't be a real candidate. 6-6 in the MWC this year and recruiting classes of almost exclusively 2* and 0* recruits. Never had a high 3* let alone a 4* and has no ties to our area. It's got to be a misdirect.

You have to do your due diligence. If you've got a guy (or a couple guys) in mind, you've still got to interview or talk to a few others to make sure you did your job.
If someone really impresses you can add him to the short list. If you're still convinced the original guys are the ones after you interview a few others you know, plus you can say he was the best of 5 or 6.

You can't really look at Utah States classes and say he can't recruit, No one could get 4 stars there.

Wells isn't a smokescreen. He is a good young up coach at a non power 5 school. Just like all the other candidates you have heard the names of.
I know Nebraska was on him after Bo got fired. He used it as a pay raise at Utah St.

The guy went 5-6 this year. It's not him. This is getting laughable. Kilgore is going to turn up smelling like roses I think.

I said win it all. That is our goal right? It's much easier to accomplish that goal at Georgia than it is at Mizzou and he never got it done. Hell, he couldn't even win the East over Missouri in '13 and '14.
