In theory that's great.. and next time I'll try to handle it differently. Clearly being honest doesn't pay off.
The cop was bringing in the dog regardless of what I said -- If I say no, it gives him even more reason to think somethings up.
He pulled me over for touching the line, which gives him probable cause to search the car.
My lawyer said it was shitty, but there wasn't anything different I could've done.
Like you said, the guy was a douche. Can't change that.
