I'd like to take a peek at any of these guys

Doug Nussmeier, OC, Florida

Scott Saterfeld, HC, Appalachian State

The only way I would endorse chloroforming Odom is if any and all the entitled POS p;layers went with him.

Otherwise you run the risk of the POS players thinking they've added another head to their collection.

It sucks but Odom needs to play out his hand, if for no other reason than to weed the POS out of the program.

Did you watch the game and hear the announcers long discussion on J'Mon Moore?

The line starts with him. I'll trust the coaching staff to weed out any others.

Damn, our recruiting is BAD! No matter who the coach is it's going to take 4-5 years to get out from the last 2 recruiting classes. I was hoping for a decent year just to get the St. Louis kids back from Lovie Smith but that's not gonna happen.

Bad coaching, shite recruiting, this programs buried unless Sterk makes a move that can excite recruits.

I'm rooting for Barry but we are 8 games into the season now and what is happening? Kentucky just ran the ball all up and down the field on the defense and the offense sputtered again.

I hope he can sell us some hope these last 4 games or who knows what Sterk will do. If Mizzou ends up 2 - 10 who knows if anyone will care what Sterk does.

The offense sputtered?? Drew Lock seems to know where the problems lie...

“It’s like you have a little brother in high school, and he’s getting picked on. He gets beat up. And we’ve got to be there for him,” Lock said. “The defense is a little beat up right now. They’re trying their best, … but we’ve got to do a little more to make some things happen.”

That comment is as weird as Scherer's comment from a couple weeks back.

It's like the team has zero chemistry and basically hates each other.

I too am pissed, but to be fair. We were missing a ton of guys on defense today...probably doesn't matter.

He's a fricktard for saying that, especially after his offense single handedly lost us 7 games last year.

Drew Lock is still immature on and off the field.

It comes back to

1. Will Sterk pull the plus after just one year?

I think if the team is as fractured as it appears to be, I don't see why not.

2. After the last two seasons, what top coach would actually give us a look?

Not our dream list.. Rather realistically

3. I would appreciate some feedback, on Rocky Long of San Diego Sate.... I know nothing about him, other then he has a running back that could be in the running for the Heisman, and that he's 7-1 in the Mountain West... No he wouldn't be a top tier pick... I've heard his name thrown around early

4.. I feel like I'm back in the 70's and 80's again

IHCBO will get at least one more year. That should ensure recruiting is completely destroyed. THen a decade of bottom dwelling under mediocre cheap coach hires, perhaps longer unless we accidentally hire someone really good. This will make the board of curators happy, as all that lovely SEC money will not have to be wasted on the football program.

Rocky Long is a great coach. I'd LOVE to have him in CoMo. He's a no-nonsense guy that always has physical teams. He'd make a smooth transition in the SEC. Only thing is that he's 66 and might not want to leave SDSU

Yep, after I posted, I saw his age.

I know it's premature to talk coaching change... It's just so fking painful to watch this shite.

I guess I'll cling to my hope that Sterk is as good as we all think..... I doubt if he'll let things here go for long, if this is was we can expect to see, week in and week out.

I don't think they'd have a problem paying a coach 4-5M, nor do I think they'd pump more than 100M in the past 5 years into facilities if they didn't want the football team to succeed.

We are just, now, in a bad spot. Odom will either get it turned around or he won't. If not, in a couple years we will be in a better position to hire someone. Further away from the protest and if not a completed new football facility then at least one underway.

Just going to have to take our lumps for awhile. Hopefully not much longer.
