I agree, but don't pretend D-2 is not that different from FCS. It's a world of difference.
It's closer in basketball, and we're all paying the price for people that thought D-2 could translate to D-1.

No disrespect to Northwest, it just not nearly as satisfying. NDSU is big because their #1 in North Dakota. In Missouri, its different with the Chiefs/Tigers and of course MLB
