There are high schools in Missouri who win championships as well. At their level, they are elite.
D2 is cool but please don't compare it to a D1 national title. When it comes to college football in Missouri, it is Mizzou and then everyone else. I respect NWMSU but I'd trade all their titles for a Mizzou SEC title. That's how big the difference is between the two

Look at North Dokota state beating Iowa. The level isn't that different. They are 1-AA. a small step up from D-2. Northwest is the best football team in the state and it's not even close. I would also trade 5 national championships for a SEC championship bc Northwest will replace them in s blink of an eye.

Listen, I've never said that Northwest would beat the chiefs or Mizzou. Ive said they are the best football team in Missouri. It's not remotely close.
