You guys played a great game and got some bad breaks. You should have won. UGA has a golden horseshoe up their arse.

Snap back from this, you guys are gonna be tough to beat this year.

Young team that is turnover prone. Until they can stop getting in their own way it's gonna be a rough season. First year coach who is too nervous to lose than excited to win.

A tough break for Missouri but the team has shown improvement from week to week so far. Still plenty of football left to be played.

Thanks, but I'm not gonna accept a moral victory. We lost and we're now 1-2 on the season.

I also disagree. I know I'm sounding like a negative nacey, but we didn't deserve to win this game. 5 turnovers is unacceptable.

Yeah. I'm happy that we looked better.

But we're still a 5-7 or 6-6 team.

Lots of work to do.

I appreciate it, V&S, but you don't win many with 5 TOs. Or when you go conservative too early. Odom knows it's on him - choked up in the press conference.

We are young, with new coaches and new schemes on both sides of the ball. As long as we keep improving, we'll be OK. I think by mid-season, we will be a tough out for just about anyone on the schedule.

Yeah, BO knows this one is on him. He learns, the team learns.

This team may be more dangerous than good this year, but they'll at least be fun to watch.

Yep, 6/6 or so.

But I saw some great things that I never saw from the GP regime.

Take the lumps and look forward.

I couldn't agree more.

Not about any bad breaks (that final Lock pick was an abomination; a rookie mistake), but you can see all the elements of their offense and especially their defense coming together.

In the past Mizzou has played to force QB mistakes with relentless Front Four pressure on every down. Tonight you could see how by denying the run to one of the best backs in the league to set up long down and distance situations, they will force the opposing QB to beat them with accuarate passing.

Inconsistent passers (like Josh Dobbs) are going to be in some serious trouble. It's only their third game in these systems and you can already clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I haven't felt this good about a loss in a long time.

Mizzou played really well and I agree should have won.

The 3rd Lock INT was a very bad read by Lock. He was too focused on Moore and should have seen the Safety roll to Moore's side of field in his pre snap read. Wingo destroyed the Ga defender from the right slot and was wide open for a TD in the end zone on that play.

Even more remarkable, after watching the replay of the fumble to end the game...holy crap Moore might have scored a TD if that guy didn't put his helmet on the ball. Ga got lucky on that play

I didn't see the whole other interceptions, but I saw this one. It was a combination of a bad read and an athletic play by the defender.

Incredibly lucky. It's football tho and that stuff happens.

Not gonna say this season doesnt matter(bc ALL seasons matter), but as a fan, I just hope we focus on building consistency for the next 2 years.

This. Would I love to win? YES!

However, I'm liking the steps we are taking to become a household name. I'd settle for 6-7 wins this year and ruining a couple of seasons on the way.
