Rumors were and are everywhere. Maybe they just wanted to make it clear that Mahk and Cruellar had not been arrested and weren't in trouble with police.

No. Do people call police everytime they see underage drinking? I'd imagine they just had to get rid of it (if it truly is some sort of drugs), via toilet or country road.

Because I doubt they have to notify the PD, and just to clarify that they hadn't been arrested or anything.

Yea I would expect from a legal aspect there are a few things, assault, robbery, destruction of property, were they would be required to turn them in, basically something that includes "injury to another entity" so what they're really saying is they didn't do any of that stuff if there are no police reports filed.
