problem with that is he was redshirted, so hes not gonna sit out another year.

He's going to sit for the rest of his time at Mizzou if he stays. Going Juco, he wouldn't lose any basketball time.

going juco, true. I'm actually very intrigued about Kemp. 6'8 player with handles, that doesn't grow on tree's..

The fact he couldn't offer any assistance on a team woefully lacking in frontcourt depth last year doesn't bode well for his skill level.

I agree you should be up front with CJ Roberts. That Mark Smith kid is local though and can really ball. CJ Roberts to me seems a lot like Terrence Phillips. Not a bad a thing, but we already have that player on our roster for 2 years with Phillips. I think Smith is just the type of tough physical player we need.
I think Walton would honestly be my first choice to go. CVL and Hughes are the perfect spot up shooters a team needs with the Porters. Walton just isn't a threat from the outside and if you've watched the tourney at all, you need shooters.
I know everyone will say they don't hit open shots, but watch what happens when the pressure falls off of those two a bit. If it ever works out like that.

I think he hits 40 % next year from 3 and comes off the bench for a tourney team.

7 percent. He made that same jump from Freshman to Soph. year. It happens all the time, especially with upperclassmen.

He caught fire the last week which might inflate that to give a false image. If he continues from the last week great! But that should not cover up the 25 games prior where he shot below 30%.

I'd rather keep Frankie, although the more I think about it, might leave.

Can you think of a 2 guard in the SEC CVL could guard man to man?

I'm bored as shite, but he got hot one game. He hit 5 against Ole Miss. In the previous 12 games to end the season he never hit more than 2. Not trying to be argumentative, but just scouring his stats right now.
I really like Frankie, if he's allowed to grow at his pace I love what he brings.

That's the thing about Kemp. He's a guard in a bigs body. He might develop into a quality P6 wing, I don't think he ever develops into a P6 post player. In the post is where Mizzou tried to play him. If he goes to juco I think he could reemerge as a D1 wing, he won't get that playing time next year at Mizzou. Especially if MPJ is at Mizzou.

He was fine defensively most of the year. So I'd say a fair amount of them. He also plays very solid help defense. Something many folks don't give any credit for, despite it being an important part of team defense.
Time will tell Bass, sorry to hijack the thread. Anywho I still think Mark Smith is important and could contribute right away.

CVL is horrendous defensively. He can't guard anyone.

If he was the deadeye shooter he was supposed to be, you could live with it in spurts...but he's not.

Roberts will not be the one to go if we need room.

I'd say Geist and Kemp. Nikko or Smith next in line.

He was not horrible defensively. I watched literally every game in some form. DVR, live etc.... Why? Not torture, but know and love basketball. That team wasn't shitty because of defense...
