do you think the new coaching staff will let him carry the ball a few times a game?

I know everyone will say we do not need him now that we have Ross and Strong but we really do not know about Strong. And if Ross goes down then what.

I doubt he's fully gained his athleticism yet.

Apparently he's going to play DE.

That was the plan a few months ago, but since then they've stated numerous times he's gaining good weight at an extremely fast rate. They make it sounds like he's not on pace to move back to DT.

We're so loaded at DT it's not even funny. Think about it. Augusta, Beckner, Hatley, Moore, Logan. Even without Brantley, that's 5 guys who could start for a good chunk of FBS teams this year. If Brantley did play DT, I bet Moore and Logan would barely see the field!

We're still loaded at DE though, and I'd hate to see Brady, Frazier, or Howard lose playing time. I'm honestly kind of torn on him playing DE for that reason. I have a feeling he doesn't quite have the athletic ability to set a strong edge.
