The costly mental mistakes need to start being punished though even if Eli has to bench them all and play freshmen. That shite can’t continue if we want 8+ wins.

Tollison is killing us with those early snaps. His one on 3rd and 1 at midfield with 1:40 left might have been the biggest play in the loss. Sure the fumble after hurt but 3rd and 1 vs 3rd and 6 lead to that sack.

Are you saying that you are a mature retard? You might want to go for a walk after a loss to get in touch with reality. How can you enjoy being a Mizzou fan if you say such stupid shite after a loss? How have you survived this long?

We lost a good game to a damned good offense with a great QB. That shite is gonna happen.

The joke’s on me. I’ve seen this athletic department fall on their assholes time after time and I still come back for more. Why would DRF be any different? Life’s too short to waste time on this.

Here’s some uncomfortable truth: Missouri (both the University and state) is perfectly happy with mediocrity which is why it’s near the arse end in every important category imaginable.

We know who we are on offense.

We don’t know on defense. If they can clean it up I think we can get to 9-3/10-2.

I am not a fan of Drink at this point either. If he goes 7-5 or worse after a 5-0 start…that’s when I’ll be pissed. For now I think there is a lot still out there.

Kentucky - ? Lean toward W
South Carolina - W
Georgia - L
Tennessee - ?
Florida - W
Arkansas - W

That looks about right. I think Tennesse is vulnerable and they are at Faurot. I could see Kentucky as a loss and Tennesse a win to get to 9-3. A 9-3 season is a big step forward. Drink isn't perfect but we'll be far better off if he figures this out and succeeds vs starting fresh again. His recruiting is excellent and I think he adapts more than a lot of coaches. The conservative play calling is my biggest issue. The "gimic higher risk plays" (on-side to open Memphis, 2pt conversion against LSU on 1st TD) can be fun but those aren't the higher risk areas that pay off on the scoreboard and close out games.

How come no top tier coach want to be the HC? Pinkel isn't a top tier HC when he took the Mizzou HC job. Then he could have left but didn't want to start over and it took a long time to build the program to be competitive. Look at Kentucky. If Stoops either leave or retires would any top tier HC want the Kentucky HC job? Also, more likely any HC that are doing well will look elsewhere for a better job. It's a steppingstone for HCs. I think Drinkwitz would stay long term like Pinkel did. I am worried about some Mizzou fans want to run him out. If fans don't have patient, then he will leave. That is not what I want. I hate starting over and that HC might go elsewhere for a better gig after a few good years. Drinkwitz is almost like Gary Pinkel some up and down years and some really good years. He isn't there yet, but I do see this happening if fans stay patient with Drinkwitz. One thing needed done is build the roster with good depth and good backups. I am seeing it happening already. Next year is where I see a much more balance and improved team from this year. Odom couldn't do it. he went up and down and then was losing the team and wasn't recruiting better over the years. Huge difference between the two.

Lefty, while I appreciate your enthusiasm for Mizzou football, No One is reading your long arse posts. Make your point, get in and get out.

An SEC school is not a stepping stone but Desiree is watching he's not in the clear..his mismanagement of the early games so he didn't have to put Horn in and not getting kids reps is biting him in the arse

He is the HC, and you are a Mizzou fan. Let it go. He is getting the team to where it is looking much better than a year ago. I rather he does it slow and get the others to redshirted. That is where next year comes in and the team will be a lot better than this year. Keep getting better is the way to go and getting depth and good backups. Doing to the Gary Pinkel way. I know giving other players reps isn't there, but the roster is a lot better than last year.

Is it ? I only see one more potential win (Arkansas) on the schedule.

Florida and USCe are the most winnable game. Then its Ark and UK. Heck, UTk seems decently winnable now. Really, just UGA seems unwinnable.

No one really thought we were going to be going into LSU 5-0. We played them tough and then broke down at the end of the game. We're still much better than we were last season and 8 to 9 wins is still very achievable.

Winning the KSU game while playing LSU tough ensures that the dork gets another year ...

I'd be good with him if he just became a recruiting head coach and gave all game day duties to his OC/DC ... also he needs to clean up the discipline issues.

I believe Lefty is onto something here. This sounds like a great strategy!

I'm standing by 5-3 is required to keep Drink's seat from being hot.

His lack of program discipline hasn't changed at all since he got here. Without that, he has no hope of winning big here. Time to move on if he goes 4-4 or worse in SEC play.

When do we start getting better? Drink was .500 in the SEC when he got here and we were worse than that last year. If we get to .500 in SEC play, that isn't an "improvement" under drink.
