Good lord, go to Tom's for the rib tips. Best BBQ meal I've ever eaten.
When I want to eat cow I go to Thomas Meat Market in Collierville and get me a nice bone end ribeye. When I want pig I go to InterState BBQ, Central BBQ, or Germantown Commissary. The Commissary has the best Banana Pudding around !!

Have you tried Tom's? (It's located in the general area to the east of Graceland.) Really-really good.
We went down for Beale Street Music Festival and had a great time, as always. Went old school at Payne's one day, too. Outstanding as well. I wanted to Central on the third day, but the rest of the crew wanted to eat Gus' Chicken - and it was good.
Memphis is just a great place to visit.

Didn't really read the op but if the question is BBQ the answer is Arthur Bryant's burnt ends

Oklahoma Joes for everything. Gas station location can be a long wait
I went to both Olathe and KCK locations, both were really good. The Gas Station wait wasn't horrible, but it was bad after I left
Great BBQ

Oklahoma Joe's pulled pork is the best.
I had ribs/brisket the first time. 2nd time, I had the ZMan sandwich.

Which was your favorite?

Tough one, but ribs and brisket combo was really good. I didn't care for the beans, but they were ok at least.
Both things were so good

I know several people going to the game that have absolutely no clue what they'll do before/after the game.
If you're looking for things outside of BBQ I HIGHLY recommend the National WWI Museum. It's kind of become a forgotten war and the Museum does a great job of teaching the history of it, some good info from all countries involved, and lots of great exhibits.

The Museum is absolutely awesome, greatest WW I spot in the US hands down

I have not tried Tom's. I live very close to the Germantown Commissary. If I go for a ride for BBQ it is InterState BBQ

This was my favorite in Memphis. Great pulled pork and sides. Outstanding.

Left STL, did Shakespeare's. checked out the stadium. Now drinking a cold one trying to make this decision myself. Leaning to trying Oklahoma joes but we have a big group. Told the place isn't big enough to hold us. Anyone on with any quick help on that. We're talking about gas station location but can do anything.

Depends on the size of your group I am taking 15 of my wrestlers there tomorrow after a day of worlds of fun, never had a problem fitting in we go before dinner rush starts

If not too late go to one of the other Oklahoma Joes locations. Just as good but a little bigger and more accommodating for a bigger group. That or Jack Stack.

I went to the Olathe location, but it was actually a nice spot. The KCK gas station was busy, but I timed it properly. It was well out the door when I was leaving.

Hit the Olathe location. Good stuff. Was going to hit Jack Stack Saturday night but ended up just drinking Natty Light all night. Thanks for the help.
ETA-And had a great time in KC as always. I do have to give the Tiger fans all the credit for putting up the good fight in that city though. Are there Illinois fans in STL? Obviously. But they're not nearly as obnoxious as the kU fans I ran into in KC. My son says we have to change the name to Missouri City though to remind all the beakers they're not welcome though.
The low light of the weekend was a helicopter hovering over head for about 3 innings of one of our games. Turns out an 18 year old drowned trying to swim across some lake.
