I am really impressed they have been able to keep this on lockdown.

Assuming everyone in the BOC already knows, I don't follow the logic that all of the people that already know would spill the beans after the meeting. I don't think you hear jack from Mizzou, if you hear anything about GM it will come from WSU when he resigns.

From previous experiences, Mizzou was the last to know when CMA and Haith left.

I think you mean Mizzou was not surprised by Haith. Nobody knew he was going to Tulsa until it was already done.

Of course he did. Just like CMA did every year. Haith needed an extension badly. He would have preferred to get that at Mizzou. Obviously, he could not.
