please don't tell me you're like the few, well many, who buy into that stuff.

I could say that about the Blues, but we're just choke jobs, not cursed.

There's got to be something to it. I'm not usually one of those people, but they should have accidentally won it over the course of 107 years, regardless of the shitty organization.

I'm just hoping for more games, LCS would be great. I've said since I was old enough to know how money worked that I would be in Chicago for a Cubs world series and I'm not exactly in the position to do that this year. The Cubs making the postseason kind of sprung up on me, I figured I had another year to get the business running without my constant presence.

If nothing else it would be freaky prescient for the guys from Back To The Future II to be right 30 years later...

And my grandmother, who grew up in Peoria, could die a happy woman. Her Mom, my great grandmother, was the only person I knew who was old enough to remember a Cubs WS win, and she was five or six when it happened.

That being said, go cards.

I can't bring myself to root for the Cubs but I do hope they win. I'll be at the game on Friday and I've never been to a Cards-Cubs game. Add the playoff atmosphere and it should be pretty epic.

I'll be there too and am hoping for the Cubs.

Never been to a playoff game. How early does the on-field pomp begin?

Be in the seats 45 minutes ahead of 1st pitch?

My old man is doing fine for now, but he's in the doctors office more often now. It would be great for him to see a Cubs win.

That would likely undo the curse. There's already a kickstarter to make it happen.

Bartman has declined through some friend / spokesman.

Said he would be rooting for the Cubs.

As much as I would like to see the Cubs win, if they do the media will be insufferable all winter long.

The Red Sox overraction was bad, and that was 10 years ago.

This will be above and beyond the call of over coverage.

I'd be happy for my Cub fan friends, they all deserve it, and the money grab would be epic for the franchise.

Also, why no cards icon? Lemme guess, cause we're all douches.

Anyway, here's to good mojo so that Mizzou may win one before I die.

I was at game 4 of the NLDS last year and game 5 of the WS the year before.

If you're in your seat 45 minutes before then you shouldn't miss any thing. They'll have a pre-game show on Fox Sport Mid West at Ball Park Village so we'll going to that a few hours before the game.

The celebration after the NLDS win last year was crazy. Ball Park Village is the place to be after a big Cardinals win.

there is no way you can be a Cards fan and want to see the flubs win, it's not even possible.

I said I'd be happy for my cub fan friends.

Not for the Cubs themselves.

My best bud has suffered badly, and I've seen it first hand. It ain't pretty. I'd like to see him have something to cheer about, that doesn't mean I want the cards to lose.

I've enjoyed the schadenfreude long enough. 2008 was the pinnacle, he got front row seats to watch them get swept out of the NLDS here in LA, then as a Nub fan walked into a bar to see that his Huskers had been drubbed by Mizzou 52-17.

Needless to say, I rather enjoyed that day.

Anyway, I want the cards to wipe the floor with those shitbags, but if they don't I won't be angry about it.

Suppose this, Cards fans:

Cubs win World Series, but as a result, the same fart cloud hovering over Mizzou's basketball program is lifted and they finally advance to a Final Four.

Worth it?

I say yes.

I know we have some Cubs fans here in our fanbase.

Congrats to our Mizzou Chicago brothers and sisters.
