I can't bring myself to root for the Cubs but I do hope they win. I'll be at the game on Friday and I've never been to a Cards-Cubs game. Add the playoff atmosphere and it should be pretty epic.

Hope the Pirates win. I think the Cards have a much better shot of beating them.

Cards have a better chance against the Cubs, the only reason why im worried about playing the cubs is thought of losing, to the cubs.

I disagree. I don't think they have a great shot agains either though If I'm being honest. Team is too depleted right now. Not only missing your best SP, but several of your position players are less than full strength.

Depleted would be right if we were talking about this a month and half ago. Too much talent and experience to count them out that early. Obviously upsets happen, but on paper cards are still a mile ahead.

I don't care who we play. Only big miss is Molina. Martinez would have been nice but his emotions in the playoffs would have scared me

I want to play the Cubs in the first round. They remind me of the 2006 Detroit Tigers. All that talent but no experience. Weren't the Tigers supposed to be the battle tested Cardinals in 3 games to win the World Series???

Go Cubs tonight and see you guys on Friday.

I'd be more inclined to root for the Cubs if not for that Bartman debacle.

I would love to see some big money guy offer bartman a million bucks to come sit in the stands, front row, in his Cubs gear for every game. Wonder if he'd do it just for free tickets???? I'd probably offer that up

That would likely undo the curse. There's already a kickstarter to make it happen.

No curse, just a shitty organization.
