I think many of us thought that this would be a natural progression eventually for him. Excited to see what he can do.

The staff also said that Palmore has looked real good stuffing the run, but he needs time to get in better shape. Beckner has looked like a MAN. They also said that Sparks and Tavon Ross has looked good. On offense, they have raved like heck over return man and wr Johnson.

If both of Ross's knees are healthy, he may break out with Perkins on the mend.

Lots of bodies and guys I liked in the recruiting process at safety.

Need some guys to step up and do it. I personally like Sherrills and Hilton the best. I know the staff is really high on Perkins though.

I think the changes at the second level will help the safeties out. Taking on an untouched ball carrier is part of the job but they were put in a lot of bad spots last year.

The competition at both positions with be great. Hilton has to show he can play down hill. He is more Matt White than Kenji Jackson in that dept.
