I almost hate to post it - water under the bridge, ancient history, etc. - but Mizzou and its recruitment of Ezekiel Elliot heavily mentioned/discussed in the attached ESPN E:60 video.

LINK

Not sure how to feel about. I never begrudged him going where he wanted to go; just don't get MU fans' hopes up with the last minute dog and pony show. This makes it sound like maybe he really was having second thoughts. The skeptical part of me also could see it as just another opportunity for airtime for the Elliot's. Anyway, after his CFP performance, he clearly made the right decision for himself.

frick that, he is a pariah in his home state could have been something special here. He will just be lost in the history of tOSU as another RB (Griffin, George etc..). These Missouri guys who sell out to go other places are one of the reasons Mizzou has never reached the promised land.

I don't really blame kids that want to get away. It's natural to want to get away and be your own person. Wish the kid good luck.

I know we are all mizzou fans but dang, cmon. If I had a chance to play for Urban Meyer, I'd probably take it too. Look at the depth charts. He had a chance to contribute right away at Ohio State. He wouldn't have had that at mizzou.

Until the latter half of last season, running backs haven't really been the focus of our offense.

I have absolutely no problem with him picking Ohio State over us. The way his dad has handled it is a bit "frick him" worthy...but certainly not Zeke.

Remember he committed after the 2012 season. We had went 5-7 while Ohio State went 12-0 with a lot of turnover.

Good luck to the young man....I just hope he continues to be a positive reflection of Missouri.

College students should base their college decisions on the desires of anonymous grown-ups they will never meet.

They can do what they want, obviously. Doesn't mean I have to support him or "wish him the best". That's all phony shite anyway.

I don't everwish a Missouri kid that spurned Mizzou the best. Why should I? It doesn't help Mizzou in any way. Most I just quit worrying about and leave it at that. When it comes to the Elliotts though...I do not like the dog and pony bullshite they pulled during his recruitment and they wasted our staffs valuable time close to signing day because he wasn't getting enough attention.

Agree and lets face it he is a special case. Double parent lineage, lives in state. States and still states he grew up wanting to be a Tiger. Recruited hard by said Tigers and then goes to to tOSU. Now I am supposed to be happy for him, no just no.
