I understand that, my issue is with Journalist just reporting rumors they hear instead of actually doing journalism work.

Today's journalist are lazy, they literally sit in an office and text/call/internet their entire job. Journalism can be accomplished by half the country at this point.

Totally agree...except I don't call them journalists. I call them reporters. They report what they hear.

Other than Odom, I don't think anyone here is sure who the candidates really are. Those that have the best knowledge are afraid to say.

Rhule says he's pulled out of consideration (or turned down the offer depending on who you talk to )

So he's out.

I'm obviously the lone Calhoun supporter.

If it's him, you saw it here.

If it ain't him, everyone in the world is a frickhead.

I wouldn't mind Calhoun. He's done great things at Air Force. But in my mind, it would mean other candidates fell through. I doubt he's MR's top target. We are back to the need for a name that excites fans, donors and recruits.

Just can't get on board with the triple option thing. It's nearly impossible to recruit to. Kids with NFL aspirations don't want to play in it.

I can't recall anyone running it that has won anything in significance

I had meant to say recently.

It was widely used decades ago. Not so much anymore.

I'll read the article.
