Does everyone in CoMo get busted for pot?

20 years ago I had Springfield PD knocking on my dorm after a complaint of pot smell coming from my suite.
I was actually in my room studying, but my suite mates were in the other room blazing with a pile on the desk.
The cops walked into a room that reeked of pot, with 4 guys baked so badly they couldn't open their eyes, took a look around, asked if anyone had been smoking, looked at the pile on the desk and said, "I don't see any marijuana in here", and walked right out.
This was 20 years ago, in a dorm at SMS. Mizzou PD needs to get a clue.
After the cops left everyone went to Lamberts for ham steaks and fried okra.

Smoking in a vehicle is probably frowned upon by local law enforcement.
Why can't these guys figure that out?

That is probably the kicker. I imagine they catch quite a few at home but unless its a giant mound they will probably turn a blind eye to it.
I'm all for legalizing and controlling weed like alcohol but lighting up in a car is going to get you caught every time.

Seriously......it isn't THAT hard to blaze up and NOT get caught like an idiot.
Hell, two of my roommates when I was living in campus lodge were potheads. One rat bastard in particular who was just human excrement, would toke up in the living room and leave ash stains.
Never got caught.

A tip for the wise. When smoking in a confined area like a dorm room grab a hand towel and wet it down and exhale into the towel.
